A presentation of Andrew Wilson's work at a special event held at the House of Lords in mid November '99 earned him the top prize for young research chemists.  The award ceremony was organised by Chemistry Research for Britain, an organisation supported by the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, learned societies, professional associations and institutions active in chemical science and technology, and the UK science research councils.
